Editorial Reviews:

The bestselling author of phenomenally successful and continually vital The E-Myth Revisited presents the next big step in entrepreneurial management and leadership with E-Myth Mastery.

A practical, real-world program that is implemented real-time into your business, Gerber begins by engaging the reader in understanding why the entrepreneur is so critical to the success of any enterprise, no matter how small or large it may be, and why the mindset of an entrepreneur is so integral to the operating reality of the organization, of the small business, and the enterprise. He then covers seven essential skills:

  • Leadership
  • Marketing
  • Money
  • Management
  • Lead Conversion
  • Lead Generation
  • Client Fulfilment

Each of these seven skills is presented through a specific training module with corresponding tests and exercises that explain the content and principles to be learned, provide case studies and examples, as well as worksheets for applying those ideas to the business. Gerber ties it all together by helping readers put the pieces together in an E-Myth Business, an E-Myth Practice and an E-Myth Enterprise.

This is the book that will show you the difference between being an entrepreneur versus doing a job, how to get money when the bank won't give it to you, how to expand your customer base when big business moves in down the street, how to develop the best people when you can't afford to pay them competitive wages, how to increase the predictability of what your business is able to promise, and then how to keep that promise, every single time, no matter where you are or what you're doing.

Mastery is a business development program that helps you turn your company into a world-class operation...into a turn-key money machine!

Summary: Good, but not the masterpiece E-Myth Revisted is
Comment: My reading of E-Myth Mastery kind of stalled half way through. It is a good book, for sure, but it just didn't hold my attention enough to continue. perhaps I expected too much, having just completed Michael Gerber's E-Myth Revisited, which was excellent.

Comment: Just what my entrepreneur brother-in-law wanted. He said this book was on his "reading list"!

Summary: A Good Book That's Well Worth A Read!
Comment: While I have to agree with many of the reviewers that this book is not as good as Gerber's first book, "The E-Myth," I still found it to be useful and thought provoking. After all, it would be hard for anyone to top the phenomenal success of the "E-Myth" and perhaps it's unfair to compare the two.

This book expands upon Gerber's philosophy of business organization and systemization, so that the business owner can live the life of their conscious choosing rather than living as a slave to their business. The message is sound and I just don't see how anyone could go wrong reading this book. I recommend you buy it and read it.

In the spirit of full disclosure, I should say that I am a speaker, trainer, and author of another unique and highly valuable learning tool that can also be found here on Amazon: The WealthLoop Series Beginner's Guide to Personal Wealth Creation (Combo Audio/Data CD): Audio Seminar With Downloadable 40-Page Action Manual and Active Link Library. It is a straight-forward discussion of the art and science of personal wealth creation and should be considered by anyone serious about wanting to learn more about the right way to get started on the road to personal wealth creation and financial freedom!

Other "WealthLoop Series" tools of worth looking into include:

The WealthLoop Series Beginner's Guide to Building Wealth Buying Houses: The Foolproof Roadmap to Real Estate Riches Without the Risks and Hassles of Landlording

and

The WealthLoop Series Beginner's Guide to Building Wealth Buying Houses (Combo Audio/Data CD): Author's Audio Commentary Plus Downloadable 32-page Marketing Manual, Checklists, Spreadsheets, and Forms.

Summary: The books expands on nothing
Comment: I think the the E-Myth revisited was a great book and it seems Mr Gerber wanted to capitalize on the great success of that book. Unfortunately this book provides no new information in 4 times the words. If you want a good business book get the E-Myth revisited and avoid this lengthy, boring tome.

Summary: Disappointingly Worthless
Comment: I REALLY wanted to like this book. I read the E-Myth Revisited and loved it, but this book let me down big time. The whole book is basically a bunch of babbling about how he couldn't figure out a problem and how he worked it over and over in his head and couldn't figure it out. There's a lot of words in this book, but I found nothing of value.

I'd recommend sticking with The E-Myth Revisited: Why Most Small Businesses Don't Work and What to Do About It and being satisfied with that. I highly recommend that book!
