Summary: You have to buy it
Comment: Everything you don't even know that you don't know is in this book. A lot has been said about it, but you will only understand when you read it. If you plan on starting a business, and even if you already are in business, and think that there must be an better way to do this (without going under)-this book is for you.
In the book you will find step by step instructions followed by logical explanations to help you start a sewn product business.
Only after reading it I have found the courage to think I should go ahead and start a clothing line. I still have a lot to figure out, but at least I know what I would be dealing with, how to start, how to avoid throwing money away.
If you don't buy this book and you are trying to save those 60$, you are saving where you shouldn't.
All I know is that before reading it I was completely lost. I am not anymore.

Summary: Every chapter will save you time, money and frustration!
Comment: Finding this book has been the push we needed to start our women's apparel line. This is NOT a book full of textbook jargon and cute stories. No, instead every chapter is relevant, useful and has become our reference point time and time again. Kathleen's writing style is unique, direct and straight to the point and, as a reader I appreciate that. The book is not filled with sugar coated cute stories about the author or meaningless fluff. Instead it full of resources, step by step how to and (how not to)as well sharing her many years of experience and those of others.
Kathleen Fasanella has a way of making you feel as though she is sitting there explaining the process as a paid consultant and it's an enjoyable experience. After finding the book, reading it and then reading it again..and again, I found her blog Fashion Incubator and the subsequent members forum to be priceless. The community is very active and beyond helpful. I can't even count the ways reading Kathleen's book and being part of the community have saved me time, money and frustration.

Comment: Anyone who rates this book less that 5 stars probably didn't actually read it! If you are interested in pursuing a career in fashion, you absolutely must read this book. The information it provides is practical, insightful and motivational. It offers comprehensive, first rate guidance that will build your confidence and ensure your success. Thank goodness there are people like Kathleen Fasanella in this world who are willing to share their life experience and knowledge for the benefit of others. You will not regret your investment in this book; it is worth its weight in gold.

Comment: I didn't like the negativity and the author's anger in this book. She has Chapter titles and subtitles like "Paranoia" and "Fear." The negative comments throughout the book made it unbearable to read. This woman should go work for the IRS or somewhere were major negativity is appreciated.

Comment: This book is worth every penny. It isn't about how to sew, and it isn't about getting rich quick. It's about how to start and run a GOOD business. Every chapter basically includes a "So this is what you want to accomplish...Here is how most people screw this up...Please don't do that, do it the right way and be better!" It's worth buying, highlighting, rereading and using on a regular basis.
